Camila is a biologist and an artist, and holds a Phd in tropical ecology. She comes from a family of many artists, as her mom, gradmother, gradfather and great grandfather are all artists. She studied Scientific Illustration at Cornell University (Ithaca, New York, USA) at the age of 17. Since then she has illustrated all sorts of organisms and subjects for scientists and non-scientists.
